Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

Natural State Performing Arts is dedicated to providing inclusive and equitable dance education for all. We believe that dance can be a powerful tool for personal expression, creativity, and wellness and that dance should be a safe and supportive environment for everyone. We commit to the training, education, exploration, creation, and performance of fine arts in our community.

Our Story

NSPA was founded in 2023 by Caitlyn Price Sullins, a long-time resident and teacher in the Northwest Arkansas Area. Our aim is for our students to train, grow, and advance as artists through the expression of their dancing. We highly encourage students of all ages and backgrounds to pursue excellence in their training, personal development, and pursuit of goals. Dance, specifically classical ballet, does require dedication, time, discipline, and a willingness to change and grow. We believe Every Body is a Ballet Body. Our studio, performances, and any of our online communities are hate-free, with zero tolerance for prejudice, discrimination, and bigotry of any kind.

Caitlyn Sullins

Founder and Director

Affectionately known by students in the area as "Ms. Caity," Caitlyn Price Sullins is dedicated to providing equitable access to dance and performing arts. Caity has enjoyed a life of dance and dance education, from studying and teaching alongside Mrs. Margaret "Peggy" Wallace and completing her major examinations for the Royal Academy of Dance to gaining her Fine Arts degree in Theatre and Dance from Missouri State University, where she trained under the instruction of Ruth Barnes and Sara Brummel. While earning her degree, she further applied and expanded her skills by performing, teaching classes, and producing shows for Kate Riegler A.R.A.D.'s studio in Springfield, MO.

After obtaining her degree, Caity entered the professional dance world as a pointe shoe designer and consultant, traveling across the country to help dancers find safe and appropriate tools for their unique bodies and abilities.

Having taught classes across the Ozarks and beyond, Caity is excited for the opportunity to provide her unique style of dance education to students in the Northwest Arkansas (NWA) area.
